Biotherapies

Tralokinumab: in adult patients and adolescents from 12 years of age

Tralokinumab is a high-affinity human IgG4 monoclonal antibody that neutralizes IL-13. It has Marketing Authorization (MA) and reimbursement for the treatment of moderate-to-severe AD in adults and adolescents from 12 years of age.

Recommended dose:
  • 300 mg every 2 weeks after a loading dose of 600 mg at treatment initiation. Administration every 4 weeks may be considered by the prescriber for patients who have no or very few lesions after 16 weeks of treatment.

Well tolerated, common adverse events (AEs): conjunctivitis...

Concomitant use of emollients, TCS, TCIs, and phototherapy is possible.
