Administration Guidelines

Apply a thin layer in the evening: leave on overnight (minimum 8 hours) and rinse in the morning.
Apply on Day 0 and repeat the application between Day 8 and Day 14.
Adjust the quantity of cream and the number of tubes based on body surface area.

Example: Topical Permethrin (Topiscab®)

The description of the quantity of topical to be applied based on weight in the summaries of product characteristics (SPC) and Vidal is provided for guidance:

Children aged 2 months to 1 year	3.75 g of cream equivalent to an amount of cream the size of a hazelnut
Children aged 1 to 5 years	7.5 g of cream equivalent to an amount of cream the size of two hazelnuts
Children aged 6 to 12 years	15 g of cream equivalent to ½ tube of 30 g
Adults and adolescents over 12 years	30 g of cream equivalent to 1 tube of 30 g
